Privacy & cookie policy

At Atelier Restauro we process your personal data in accordance with Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015. This page explains what we collect through this site, why, who it is shared with and how you can exercise your rights.

1. 01Data controller

   • Daniella Serrano, owner of Atelier Restauro. Based in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
   • WhatsApp: +57 317 870 6753 · Email: taller@atelierrestauro.com

2. 02Data we process

   • What you send us. This site has no forms. If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you choose to share: your name, your number or email address, photographs of your artwork and your message.
   • Browsing data, only if you accept. If you allow analytics in the cookie notice, Google Analytics measures the pages you visit, how long your visit lasts, where you came from, your device and browser type and your approximate location (country and city). We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.
   • Technical logs. Our hosting provider records technical data about each visit, such as the IP address, browser, date and time, in order to run and protect the site.

3. 03What we use it for

   • To answer your enquiry, assess your artwork and send you a pre-assessment.
   • To understand how the site is used and improve it, only if you allow it.
   • To operate, maintain and protect the website.
   • Photographs of your artwork are used to assess it. Their use in the portfolio is governed by the studio’s terms, which always omit your personal data and the piece’s location.
   • We do not sell or transfer your data, and we do not send you advertising without your prior authorization.

4. 04Who it is shared with

   • Cloudflare. Hosts the website.
   • Google. Delivers the site’s typefaces (Google Fonts), so it receives your IP address whenever any page loads. If you accept the cookie notice, it also runs Google Analytics.
   • WhatsApp (Meta) and your email provider. When you write to us through those channels, your message travels through their services and is governed by their own policies.
   • These providers operate abroad, so your data may be processed outside Colombia. We do not share it with third parties for purposes other than those described here.

5. 05Cookies and browser storage

   • Necessary, no cookies. We keep in your browser, without sending it to any server, your choice on this notice (key ar-consent, in local storage) and a few session flags whose only purpose is to keep the site’s animations from repeating. They are erased when you close the tab.
   • Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which last up to two years, to tell visits apart and measure their source and duration. If you reject the notice, or do not answer, they are not set and the Google Analytics script is not even downloaded.
   • Changing your mind. You can accept or reject at any time with the button below, which erases your choice and the analytics cookies and asks you again. You can also clear the site’s cookies and local storage from your browser settings.

6. 06How long we keep it

   • The messages and photographs you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if you hire the service, for the artwork’s file. We delete them when you ask.
   • Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.

7. 07Your rights (Habeas Data)

   • You may access, update and rectify your data; request proof of the authorization you gave; be informed of how we use it; revoke the authorization or ask for your data to be deleted; and file a complaint with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
   • How to exercise them. Write to taller@atelierrestauro.com or message +57 317 870 6753 on WhatsApp, saying what you are requesting. We answer enquiries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days.

8. 08Changes to this policy

   • This policy applies from its publication. If it changes, we post the new version on this same page with its date. Last updated: October 29, 2026.
